Our 5 month wait is over as Young Justice Outsiders returns to the DC universe from 2nd July 2019. If you need a recap then check out our reviews for episode 1-13.

Thanks to Warner Bros. Entertainment, DC World has early access to the second half of the season. Having just watched the first 3 episodes i’m happy to report things pick up right where we left them. The team dynamics have developed slightly and the ongoing themes appear to be tackling some mature topics like race, gender, politics and relationships.

Experienced members such as Dick, Aqualad and M’gann appear to be taking a back seat in these opening episodes so its fun to see Halo, Forager, Geo Force and Terra promoted to full members of the team. It will be interesting to see how they mature across the second half of this season.
