Synopsis: “After Gotham is declared no longer part of the United States, the newly formed Injustice League try to seize control of the city away from Harley”

In the wake of the season 1 finale, Gotham is in ruins. A lawless town has been cut adrift from the rest of society and everything is a complete mess. Harley loves every minute of it.

If the first episode is setting the tone for season 2 then we can expect things to be very much the same as season 1, an action packed, laugh a minute crazy festival of DC comic madness.

This episode highlights Harley’s need to mature. Think about the bigger picture rather than getting hung up in the little, petty things. Everyone around her can see this but how long will it take Harley to catch on?

Season 1 was a highlight for me in 2019 and really surprised a lot of people with its humor. In a recent poll carried out by DC Comics fans, Harley Quinn was voted their third most popular character. Her live action performances from Margot Robbie in Suicide Squad and Birds of Prey will have helped that in a big way but I feel this animated series is a little something extra special for the adult fans of the character.
